Hans Möller appointed new CEO of Karolinska Institutet Holding AB

Karolinska Institutet Holding AB (KI Holding) has recruited Hans Möller as the new CEO for the KI Holding Group. Hans Möller will assume his new position as of July 16. He is presently holding the position as responsible for the Edinburgh BioQuarter at the University of Edinburgh. Hans has extensive experience of working in the interface between academy and industry, including as CEO for Ideon Science Park in Lund and as a founder of Ideonfonden and the incubator Ideon Innovation. Hans acted, until April 2018 as chairman of the board for KI Science Park AB.

KI Holding Group includes the subsidiaries KI Innovations AB, KI Science Park AB and KI Housing AB. The Innovation Office at KI is from January 2018 managed by KI Innovations, which means that counseling, education, guidance, financing, professional networks, expert knowledge in entrepreneurship and business development, and possibilities for incubation within Life Science, are all offered by KI Innovations.

Prior to  his current position in Edinburgh, Hans worked as Head of Innovations at the North East LEP, based in Newcastle upon Thyme. Hans has also held positions in different start-up companies as well as chairman for the Swedish organization SISP, Swedish Incubators and Science Parks.
